“Disclaimer: I received a pair of Oofos OOahh Project Pink sandals to review as part of being a BibRave Pro. Learn more about becoming a BibRave Pro (ambassador), and check out BibRave.com to review, find and write race reviews!”
This is my second pair of Oofos and my first pair from the project pink collection. I have to say that I think I love these slides even more than my other pair of Oofos!
After suffering from Plantar Fasciitis since February I needed/wanted something that is not only comfortable but fashionable, and these check both of those boxes for me. These truly have been amazing during my injury recovery. In fact, they are practically the only footwear that I can wear that do not cause me discomfort.
And the BEST part is that with any purchase you make from the project pink collection OR any other collection on oofos.com, Oofos will donate 3% toward breast cancer research. Oofos is dedicated to raising awareness and donating to this cause all year long.
Several aunts of mine have been affected by breast cancer so this cause is near and dear to my heart. I myself have also had a scare several years ago but I’m very thankful that everything turned out just fine. Do you have a story to share on how breast cancer impacted your life or the life of someone you know?
Here are a few facts about Oofos:
OOfoam recovery technology absorbs 37% more impact than other footwear foams.
OOfoam impact absorbing recovery technology has been scientifically proven to reduce stress on your body while walking, allowing you to recover faster after a workout and feel better all day.
The footbed is designed to cradle your arches and move with your feet, which allows for a more natural feel. Trust me, your feet and legs will thank you!
They are easy to keep clean as they are machine washable.
Duncan Finigan is a longtime member of the OOFOS Family as the Director of Marketing. In 2014 , she was diagnosed with Stage IV Metastatic Breast Cancer. 3% of EVERY pair sold on OOFOS.com, will be donated to Project Pink. This contribution goes directly towards the critical work the Dana Farber Cancer Institute is doing in their research department to increase the survival rate of women with breast cancer. We all know someone whose life this terrible disease has impacted so that’s even more reason to give them a try. I may even have to get a third pair.
They also have an awesome rewards program. Head over to the Oofoos rewards page to check it out for yourself and start earning points right away!
